Job description:
As Operations Officer at Baselenders, you’ll manage the entire loan application process, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and collaboration with underwriting teams. Your role involves implementing and enforcing document retention policies, assessing and improving credit operations workflows, and implementing quality control measures for efficient loan processing. Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end loan application process
Review application documentation, verify data accuracy, and collaborate with underwriting teams to facilitate informed lending decisions.
Ensure collection, validation, and maintenance of all required loan documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Implement and enforce document retention policies to support effective record-keeping.
Continuously assess credit operations workflows and procedures for areas of improvement.
Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and consistent processing of loan applications and documentation.
Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in loan operations or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of lending regulations and compliance.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proximity to Ikoyi.
