Job description:

As a Store Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and premium shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for processing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining the store’s high standards of customer service. Your role will involve interacting with discerning clients and ensuring that each transaction reflects the store’s commitment to luxury and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using the store’s POS system.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing their inquiries, and assisting them with their purchases.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the store’s products, collections, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Cash Handling: Manage cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accurate cash drawer balance at the end of each shift.
Store Presentation: Assist in maintaining the store’s presentation, ensuring that displays and merchandise are arranged attractively.
Sales Support: Collaborate with sales associates and other team members to provide a cohesive and customer-focused store environment.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to the store manager when necessary.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a cashier in a luxury retail environment is preferred.
Education: HND/BSc or equivalent required; additional education in retail management or customer service is a plus.
Skills:
Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate transaction processing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with high-end clientele.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and record-keeping.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
