Job description:

As the Launch Team Lead at Mevron, you will be instrumental in driving the successful expansion of our ridesharing services into new cities and regions. Your responsibilities will include leading a dedicated team comprising launch associates, service providers activation team, and service providers engagement team. You will oversee all aspects of the launch process, from planning to execution, and spearhead strategic initiatives to ensure the smooth introduction of Mevron’s platform in target markets.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of launch coordinators, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of launch plans and objectives.
Develop and implement launch strategies, timelines, and action plans for entering new cities and regions, in collaboration with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and business development.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify viable launch opportunities, assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and consumer preferences.
Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, including government agencies, transportation authorities, community organizations, and business partners, to facilitate the launch process and ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and oversee all launch activities, including driver recruitment and onboarding, fleet deployment, rider acquisition campaigns, marketing initiatives, and customer support readiness.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to launch activities, including market penetration, rider acquisition, driver engagement, and revenue growth, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Collaborate closely with product development teams to localize and customize the Mevron platform to meet the specific needs and preferences of target markets.
Lead post-launch evaluation and analysis efforts to assess launch performance, identify lessons learned, and recommend actionable insights and improvements for future launches.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and launch team members, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment of goals and priorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in project management, market expansion, or business development roles, with 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and drive business results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of market entry strategies, market research methodologies, and launch execution best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, market segmentation, and performance measurement to drive informed decision-making and optimization efforts.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate complex challenges with resilience and creativity.
Experience in the transportation, technology, or sharing economy sectors is a plus.
