Laravel Developer

Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using the Laravel framework.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
Implement RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
Conduct unit testing and resolve application issues during development.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Laravel Framework: Proficient in building applications using Laravel and its ecosystem.
PHP: Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP and best practices.
Database Management: Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control.
RESTful APIs: Knowledge of API design and implementation.
Web Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless back-end integration.
Security: Understanding of web application security and data protection best practices.
Testing: Experience with PHPUnit or other testing frameworks.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Angular for full-stack development.
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 or more years of experience in developing web applications using Laravel.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
Benefits:
Probation salary: ₦80,000 – ₦100,000 per month until confirmed as staff.
Post-confirmation salary increase: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month.

Ability to commute/relocate: Abuja: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
