IT Software Business Analyst / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst / Project Manager / Operations Manager to join our dedicated software development team. In this role, you will oversee project management activities, streamline operations, and ensure the successful delivery of our software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, operations management, and business analysis, with the ability to lead Agile ceremonies and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to project scope, goals, and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, allocate resources, and track project progress.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and address any issues or risks that may arise.
• Monitor project budget, resource allocation, and utilization to ensure projects are completed within budget and scope.

Operations Management:

• Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organization.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key operational activities, such as resource allocation, procurement, and inventory management.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to drive operational excellence.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including facilities management, vendor relationships, and administrative functions.

Business Analysis:

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document clear and comprehensive business requirements for software development projects.
• Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

Agile Leadership:

• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to ensure effective project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within the Agile team.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Testers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Operations Manager in a software development environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
• Hands-on experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic work environment.
• Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar software.
