Job description:
The C3 Project is seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to take on the dual role of IT Recruiter and Building Manager. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to empower Nigeria’s youth and women by providing them with remote work opportunities. You will be instrumental in recruiting top IT talent and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
Lead the recruitment process for IT professionals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future employment opportunities.
Employee Management and Development:
Provide ongoing coaching and development to employees. Supervise staff effectively, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance. Implement and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels at all times.
Facility Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all amenities are fully operational. Manage building maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs and upgrades. Ensure the facility meets all safety and security standards.
Administrative Support and Research:
Serve as a personal assistant to the owner, handling administrative duties and assisting with project execution. Conduct research to support project initiatives and improve operational efficiencies. Learn new skills and technologies as required to keep the project at the forefront of innovation.
Communication:
Must be fluent in American English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effectively communicate with team members, external partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in IT recruitment and facility management. 1 – 3 years of working experience Strong ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively. Demonstrated skill in creating and managing schedules. Experience in coaching and supervising employees. High proficiency in research and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work long hours as needed with significant autonomy. Fluency in American English is essential.
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 3-hour breaks, Monday through Friday
Accommodation: On-site living is provided from Monday through Friday with access to 24-hour electricity and internet services
