ICT and Design Officer

Job description:

Gelose Marine Services Nigeria Limited is a reputable and fast-growing maritime service provider that is currently seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Officer to join our team. The ICT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our information and communication technology systems, including hardware, software, networks, and other related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Minimum Qualification: Degree

Experience Level: Mid level

Experience Length: 3 years

Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

Monitor channels through which information flows into and out of an organization’s information network.

Assist in creating awareness on the use of emails and ways to avert anti-phishing threats.

Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)

Setting up accounts for new users

Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or patches.

Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

Testing new technology

Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

Respond to security incidents and breaches and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.

Management of the company’s website and hosting site

Possibly training more junior staff members

Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools to create high-quality designs that meet industry standards.

Promote, Maintain, and evolve our brand identity by ensuring consistency in design.

Requirements:

Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related course

Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Microsoft AZ-500) are an added advantage.

Minimum of 2 Years working experience

Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Suite)

Remuneration: NGN150,000 – 200,000 monthly
