Job description:

Milsat Technologies, a leader in geospatial technology solutions, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. This role requires a proactive individual with 2 to 3 years of HR experience who will manage our human resources operations and ensure our team remains motivated and aligned with our company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Administer employee benefits, payroll, and leave applications.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
Conduct performance and salary reviews to ensure fair compensation across all departments.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
Organise quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Good knowledge of employment/labour laws in Nigeria.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
