Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to oversee our IT infrastructure, manage technical support, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes and be able to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
Monitor and maintain network systems, including servers, routers, and switches.
Manage data recovery and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfill IT needs.
Ensure the security of IT systems, including implementing and maintaining firewalls and antivirus software.
Manage software updates, patches, and system backups.
Assist with IT budgeting, including procurement of hardware and software.
Document IT procedures and maintain IT inventory.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
Familiarity with a range of operating systems and IT tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Salary
N130,000 monthly.
