Geologist

Job description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented geologist to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to analyzing geological data, preparing geological interpretations, and generating insights to support research and innovation initiatives.

• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Assist senior geologists in analyzing geological data.
• Prepare geological maps and cross-sections based on the interpretation of the data.
• Participate in research projects related to geological characterization and exploration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in geological exploration techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 1 year of experience in petroleum exploration geology or a related field
• Strong understanding of geological principles, stratigraphy, and sedimentology.
• Experience with geological data analysis software (a plus)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
