What will you do in the role?

Joining our Funding Planning and Analysis team, your work will involve managing our listed bond programme and assisting with the running of our bank warehouse facility operational activities.

You will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting to our bond investors and also preparing reporting for our structured credit facilities where required.

You will be responsible for conducting analysis as per lender requests from bond investors as well as for structured credit facility investors where required.

You will work with all parts of the business, gathering data and performing key analysis on our bonds and pipeline of loans. You will also interact with our bond investors on new bond issuances and queries.

You will be responsible for drawing down funds on a weekly basis from our lenders to disburse to students, where required.

There is a lot of depth to this role and exposure to capital markets and funding planning.

What are some of the roles and responsibilities of this role?
Manage the listed bond programme as a whole, including monthly and quarterly bond processes (reporting, coupons), ensuring coupon calculations and transfers are accurate and that all reporting is sent timeously to investors and the paying agent
Assist with monthly reporting (including regulatory EU/UK) and payment waterfall calculations across warehouse facilities and public asset-backed securitisation(s) timeously
Assist with ad-hoc queries from facilities’ parties/stakeholders
Assist with weekly and monthly funding drawdowns from the warehouse facilities
Assist with operational processes associated with the facility documents (loan modifications, loan sales)
Ensure lender requests are addressed promptly and comprehensively
Ensure audit requests are addressed promptly and comprehensively

Qualifications and experience
2 – 5 years of financial services back/middle office experience, ideally from a leading investment bank or asset manager
Possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (finance, statistics, mathematics, accounting or economics)
Strong data analytical skills in MS Excel
