AutomateConnect is seeking a talented and motivated Website Designer/Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design and development, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging online experiences. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and publishing website projects within specified timeframes. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and branding requirements.
Design visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts and interfaces.
Develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
Integrate and customize content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and overall performance.
Conduct quality assurance tests to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for clients.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web design and development trends, tools, and technologies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Website Designer/Developer or similar role.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
Experience with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with web performance optimization and SEO.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Reliable internet connection and your own PC.
A portfolio showcasing previous web design and development projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with small businesses or sole traders.
Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python) is a plus.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
