Job description:

  • We are looking for a creative and strategic Digital & Social Media Officer to drive our online marketing efforts and strengthen our brand presence across digital platforms.
  • This role involves managing our digital and social media channels, producing engaging content, and executing data-driven campaigns to connect with our audience and enhance our brand.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies for AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery and its associated companies.
  • Curate and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to audience comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Track social media metrics to measure and report on campaign success.

Content Creation:

  • Generate creative content, including text, images, and videos, aligned with brand identity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and maintain a content calendar.
  • Ensure content accuracy, on-brand consistency, and platform optimization.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other techniques to enhance online presence.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights on digital marketing effectiveness.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across digital channels.
  • Work with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and videos.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends to keep strategies current and impactful.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to track the performance of social media and digital campaigns.
  • Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to management.
  • Adjust strategies based on data insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Digital & Social Media Officer or similar role.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing techniques.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
