Creative Design Assistant

Job description:

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. As a Creative Design Assistant, you will be the trend Setter in developing couture level design from vintage style/silhouettes with a contemporary touch that still corresponds with local trends.

• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Attend consultations and Client briefs to understand client’s style.
• Create mood boards and color boards.
• Illustrate ideas through sketches as well as revisions (Digital and Pencil)
• Sourcing of Fabrics for execution of brief.
• Work alongside production team to execute sketches and monitor Outfit development.
• Liase with SM team to tell a captivating story for each Garment.
• Market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Design Assistant for a reputable brand is an added advantage.
• Proficient in design and illustration Software especially “Procreate”. Other media editing skills are a plus point. (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with Colleagues and Clients.
• An enthusiastic and self-motivated Individual
• 2 – 3 years experience.
