Job description:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious dishes from scratch, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. You’ll work collaboratively within our kitchen team, adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide range of African and Continental dishes according to recipes and chef’s instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Work effectively within the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operation during service hours.
Learn new recipes and cooking techniques quickly.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, prepping ingredients, and plating dishes.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
Proven ability to prepare a variety of African and Continental dishes.
Strong knife skills and a good understanding of cooking techniques.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong team player with a positive and can-do attitude.
A fast learner with a willingness to develop new skills and knowledge.
