Job description: 

B.Sc. degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or Information Technology.

10+ years of security management work experience in manufacturing, industrial security, or related Industry.

Proficiency in security technologies Surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection/prevention, cybersecurity tools.

Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., CPP, CISSP, CISM) is an added advantage.

Proven leadership skills to motivate cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic approach to security risks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Formulate comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment, covering physical security, cybersecurity, access control, crisis management, and incident response.

Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to our manufacturing operations. Develop strategies and initiatives to mitigate these risks effectively.

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security measures, including surveillance systems, access control systems, perimeter security, and security personnel deployment.

Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to establish robust cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the protection of sensitive data, intellectual property, and critical infrastructure from cyber threats.

Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address various scenarios such as natural disasters, industrial accidents, and security breaches. Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure the readiness of employees.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to security, safety, and data protection, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

Manage relationships with security service providers, technology vendors, and contractors to ensure the effective delivery of security solutions and services within budgetary constraints.

Lead investigations into security incidents, breaches, or violations. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize the likelihood of recurrence.

Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees about security risks, best practices, and their roles in maintaining a secure work environment.

Develop and manage the security budget, allocating resources effectively to address priority areas and support strategic security initiatives.

Communicate regularly with senior management, board members, and other stakeholders to provide updates on security-related matters, including risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies.

Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and trends in the manufacturing industry. Continuously evaluate and enhance security programs to adapt to evolving risks and challenges.

Pay: ₦600,000.00 – ₦800,000.00 per month
