We have a vacancy for a Business Systems Support Officer/Business Systems Executive and are seeking applications from suitably qualified and motivated applicants to join our marketing team.
The Business Systems Support Officer/Business Systems Executive will support the Business Systems Manager in enhancing and maintaining critical business systems aligned with the organization’s digital strategy. This role is integral to ensuring efficient operations, coordinating project tasks, and assisting with system development, integrations, and reporting. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of workflows, support business solution implementations, and assist with project management tasks to drive the organization’s digital initiatives forward.
Main Responsibilities:
System Development Support: Assist in the development and refinement of business systems, contributing to the organization’s digital strategy by implementing process enhancements.
Maintenance & Improvement: Help maintain and optimize existing business systems, collaborating with IT and other functions to resolve issues and champion improvements.
Workflow Support: Develop, document, and implement workflows based on evolving business needs, supporting efficiency across departments.
System Integrations: Assist with building, testing, and managing integrations to create connected solutions, ensuring a seamless data flow between systems.
Project Support: Help with project management tasks, including tracking timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
Policy Compliance: Work closely with IT to ensure that all business systems comply with company policies, data security, and integrity standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with key stakeholders, supporting the identification and implementation of business solutions that align with company goals and address specific business needs.
Continuous Improvement: Assist in identifying business process inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements to support streamlined operations.
General Support: Carry out additional tasks as needed to support the Business Systems Manager and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Essential Skills and Attributes Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant Science/Engineering field.
Familiarity with change management principles; formal training or certification (CAP or similar) is a plus.
Basic understanding of development platforms and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively.
Proficiency with numbers and data, essential for analysing system performance.
Sensitivity to diverse cultures and a commitment to equal opportunity practices.
Strong phone contact handling abilities, active listening, and proven written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated project management and organizational capabilities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce or similar systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email.
Ability to respond to shifting demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities with a proactive attitude.
Experience in a similar administrative or assistant role within IT, project management, or business systems.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management platform.
Ability to assess systems and processes critically, identifying areas for enhancement and efficiency.

Pay: ₦500,000.00 – ₦600,000.00 per month
