Job description:
Plaude Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive – FX to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, with a focus on foreign exchange (FX) markets. This role is crucial for driving business growth in our FX services, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and positioning Plaude as a leader in the fintech and FX trading sectors.
Compensation: Competitive – Industry Standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the FX market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
- Drive sales growth by effectively promoting Plaude’s FX products and services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring profitable outcomes for the company.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and stakeholders.
- Regularly report on business development activities, sales pipeline, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with the treasury and finance teams to ensure client needs are met and transactions are executed smoothly.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role within the banking or financial services industry, specifically in FX.
- In-depth knowledge of FX markets, products, and regulations.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or similar.
- Experience in the fintech sector or with FX trading platforms.
