Job description:
Plaude Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive – FX to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, with a focus on foreign exchange (FX) markets. This role is crucial for driving business growth in our FX services, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and positioning Plaude as a leader in the fintech and FX trading sectors.
Compensation: Competitive – Industry Standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the FX market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
• Drive sales growth by effectively promoting Plaude’s FX products and services.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
• Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring profitable outcomes for the company.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and stakeholders.
• Regularly report on business development activities, sales pipeline, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Collaborate with the treasury and finance teams to ensure client needs are met and transactions are executed smoothly.
• Stay informed of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role within the banking or financial services industry, specifically in FX.
• In-depth knowledge of FX markets, products, and regulations.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or similar.
• Experience in the fintech sector or with FX trading platforms.
