Job description:
 The Bakery Marketer is responsible for promoting and driving sales for a bakery,
building relationships with customers, and increasing brand visibility.
 This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing social
media presence, conducting customer outreach, and coordinating promotional events.

 The ideal candidate is highly motivated, creative, and knowledgeable about the local
market, with a passion for baking and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Strategy:
 Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competition, and current
trends.
 Develop effective marketing strategies tailored to the Lagos market.
 Identify target audiences and analyze their buying behavior to guide campaigns.
Brand Promotion and Awareness:
 Increase brand visibility through digital and traditional marketing methods.
 Collaborate with graphic designers to create appealing promotional materials.
 Develop content for social media, including product photos, customer testimonials, and
engaging posts.
 Manage the bakery’s social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to grow
followers and customer engagement.
Sales and Customer Engagement:
 Actively promote bakery products through direct and digital sales channels.
 Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
 Collaborate with local stores, restaurants, and cafes to promote bakery products.
 Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance customer
satisfaction and retention.
Event Planning and Execution:
 Organize and participate in promotional events, fairs, and local markets to showcase
products.
 Coordinate product samplings, tastings, and demonstrations to attract new customers.
 Build partnerships with local event organizers and vendors to promote the brand.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
 Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as
needed.
 Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer engagement, and marketing
impact.
 Set and monitor sales targets and develop strategies to meet or exceed them.
Inventory and Product Management:

 Coordinate with the bakery team to ensure product availability and quality for
promotional activities.
 Work with the production team to align promotional campaigns with production
schedules.
Qualifications
 Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 Proven experience in marketing or sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
 Familiarity with the Lagos market and customer base is highly desirable.
 Proficiency in social media marketing and digital advertising.
 Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
 Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
Key Skills:
 Digital marketing and social media management.

 Basic graphic design skills (preferred).
 Strong analytical skills for campaign tracking and improvement.
Salary
N60,000 monthly.
