Job description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Support Officer to join our team in supporting the research, technology, and innovation division. In this role, you will provide a variety of administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Minimum Qualification: Degree
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the research and innovation team (e.g., scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, filing).
- Manage and maintain departmental calendars and databases.
- Prepare and process documents (e.g., reports, presentations, invoices).
- Answer phone calls and emails and provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and workshops.
- Order office supplies and equipment.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelors Degree or equivalent (or relevant experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
