Accountant

Job description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping, expertise in tax matters, and proficiency in using QuickBooks online software. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting internal audits, reviewing financial statements, preparing tax returns, and developing tax strategies.
Key Requirements:
– Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting or related field
– Certification and membership of ICAN or ANAN is an added advantage
– Years of experience and practice in accounting and bookkeeping
– Expertise in tax matters and proficiency in using FIRS taxpromax e-services platform
– Excellent skills in using QuickBooks online software
– Ability to prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
– Ability to conduct internal audits, review financial statements, and identify areas for improvement
– Ability to prepare tax returns, ensure compliance, and develop tax strategies
Responsibilities:
– Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

– Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
– Use QuickBooks online software to manage and analyze financial data

Pay: From ₦80,000.00 per month
