Job description:

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and distribution of goods. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of items in accordance with company standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth inbound and outbound operations.
• Monitor and ensure the warehouse complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes to optimize space utilization and workflow.
• Track and report stock levels, shortages, and surplus to relevant departments.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including training and scheduling shifts.
• Handle warehouse equipment and ensure regular maintenance is carried out.
• Respond to any discrepancies or issues related to stock or warehouse operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
