Job description:
As an Independent Sales/Marketing Agent, you will be the face of ILP in your local community. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and onboard reliable small-scale business owners in need of financing. You will build trust, guide applicants through the loan application process, and ensure only credible borrowers are recommended for approval and you will also manage the borrowers.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively source and connect with small-scale entrepreneurs in need of funding.
Explain the benefits and terms of the ILP program to potential borrowers.
Assist borrowers in completing their applications and submitting required documents.
Perform preliminary checks on borrowers to ensure credibility and repayment capability.
Report regularly on progress and leads generated and ensure repayments of both principal and interest on a monthly basis depending on agreements made with the borrower.
Maintain professional relationships with borrowers and uphold the company’s reputation.
Requirements:
Minimum SSCE/OND qualification.
Experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
Ability to manage onboarded borrowers
Knowledge of local markets and small-scale businesses is a plus.
Smartphone and internet access for reporting and communication.
Remuneration:
This role is also commission-based besides the daily payments after successfully , with competitive payouts for each successfully onboarded borrower after the first 10 months of their regular repayments depending on the agreed interest rate with the borrower . Agents also stand the chance to earn bonuses based on performance metrics.
