Technical Sales Engineer

Job description:
Identify sales leads and opportunities through in-depth knowledge of customer activities and plans.
Communicate customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business system or processes.
Apply technical knowledge of business unit products and services to customer needs and capture and qualify sales leads and opportunities.
Maintain customer relationship management data including customer profiling, organization structure, visit reports, customer drivers, stakeholder mapping and KPIs.
Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plan for the promotion of existing products and services and the introduction of new products and services.
Monitor pricing structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes to pricing strategy.
Requirements
Candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical / Petroleum / Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience and involvement in tender commercial processes (Oil & Gas, Power Industry Verticals)
Good sales skills and business sense.
Good technical knowledge of products and services, ability to listen to the customer’s desires and concerns and recommend solutions to meet customer needs.
Willing and able to travel to locations as required to execute job responsibilities
